Tag a location
Add an approximate place to a post. Ting rounds it to about a kilometre.

Tap the pin in the composer to tag your area. Ting uses your phone’s location once, rounds it to roughly one kilometre, and stores only the rounded point. Your exact position is never saved.
Tagged posts appear in the Nearby tab for people around you. Remove the tag before posting by tapping the pin again.
