Tap your avatar in Messages, take or pick a picture or video, and share.

- Open Messages and tap the + on your avatar, or tap the camera button.
- Take a photo or video, or pick one from your library.
- Add text if you like, then tap Share to story.
A story stays up for 24 hours, then disappears on its own. Delete it earlier from the story viewer’s ⋯ menu.
