Mute or pin a chat
Muted chats stay in the inbox without sound or notifications; pinned chats stay at the top.

Swipe a chat in the inbox, or open ⋯ inside it, to Mute or Pin. A muted chat still receives messages; only the sounds, banners and push notifications stop. Unmute the same way.
